Baby Boy Has Mama's Nose!

Jordan and I took a trip to Meriter hospital yesterday for our third and final attempt to get clear ultra sound pictures of baby boy's spine.  I gave him a pep talk in the shower that morning, and apparently he listens well.  The minute the technician put the wand on my belly, it showed baby boy was face down!  Perfect position for the spine pictures!  After he took all the spinal pictures, I asked if it would be possible to get some 3D pictures.  He explained that we would have to try to get him to roll over since he was face down, and hope the placenta didn't get in the way.  Well, our little boy was quite cooperative.  The technician wiggled my belly and sure enough, he turned enough to get some cool 3D pictures!

Here Jordan and I were able to tell that our little boy has mama's nose!  I was super excited!!!

Here our little one is yawning......posing for pictures is hard work!

Then we were even lucky enough to get a little smile from him!  See his little cheek puff up when he smiles!

This one is harder to see because he was moving, but he is holding his little hands in front of his face.

This next picuture is not 3D but it shows an Xray view of his eye.  Jordan and I thought it was pretty cool.

As if Jordan and I weren't already excited, seeing our little boy in 3D has made us pretty giddy!  I can't stop looking at his pictures!  Now..... the hard part.  Our perfect little one still needs a name!  Wish us luck!
