Another Visitor!!!!

We were very excited to have antoher visitor this past weekend!  Lisa, one of my good friends, and her son Daniel came to visit us!  It was really great catching up with her and seeing how little Daniel has grown so much over the past few months.  I didn't remeber to take my camera out much, so I only have one picture.  Daniel kept moving, so here is the best photo I got :)

It was kinda funny because all weekend, Lisa kept telling me I needed to go into labor while she was down visiting so she could be the first to see him.  I kept joking that he would come after she left.  Little did we both know that she would leave Sunday, and I would go into labor early Monday morning!

Thanks for the visit Lisa!  Can't wait for your next visit!

We had visitors!!!!!!

Last weekend, we were really excited to have our friends Shelley and Jason come and visit for a night! They were in Milwaukee for a wedding, so on their way home they stopped in to see us. Shelley and Jason have two children, Amelia and Joe. It was fun to have kids in the house!

Here is Jordan playing with the kiddos.

Amelia really loved playing with Lucy!

Lucy was a very good dog!

It was really great to see our friends!  We get lonely down here!  So..... if you ever want to visit let us know!  We would love to have you!

More Flowers!

More flowers are blooming in the graden in front of our house!  I wish I knew what they all were! Ha ha ha!

New Car!

Well if it's not one thing, it is another!  Our 2009 Caliber that we bought the day before our wedding has hit the dust!
We were hearing some high pitched humming, so we took it in to get it diagnosed.  Turns out the transmission was pretty much on it's way out the door.   With only 52,000 miles on the car, we had a choice to fix the car for $4,000 or, buy a new car and be out $3,500 that we still owed on our payments.  Well, we chose to go for a new car.  Who knows what else would have broken, had we fixed the transmission.

After two weeks of looking we setteled on a 2012 Ford Escape.

Although our payments are a bit higher than with the caliber, we are happy with our new purchase.  This car came with a 200,000mile/20yr powertrain warranty.  We also have a 120,000mile/6yr bumper to bumper warranty.  That settles any scary thoughts about what we would do if this car broke down too.

Maternity Photo Shoot

A couple weeks ago, Jordan's cousin, Andrea Larson did a maternity photo shoot with Jordan and I.  She is amazing!  She posted two pictures as a sneak peak, here they are with more to come soon!

Andrea will also be doing our little boy's newborn photos.  Check out her website!

Some Good News!

As of yesterday, Jordan and I are oficially first time homeowners!  They finally resolved all the issues, and we were able to close on the house.

The previous owners spent a lot of time landscaping, and all their hard work is starting to show.  Here are some of the beautiful flowers that are starting to bloom.

This one is my favorite!

Brewer Game

Last weekend was quite busy!  We started our weekend by attending a Friday night Brewer game.  It was nice to get to a game before the little one arrives.

Our seats were in the very last row behind home plate.  For being in the last row, we still had a pretty good view.  Unfortunately the Brewers did lose.

Saturday, we had another baby shower that my Aunt Sherry hosted.  It was a lot of fun, and great to see everyone again!

Memorial Day Weekend

We spent our Memorial weekend unpacking and getting the house situated.  The doctor told us we were getting too close to my due date, so heading up to the cabin was out of the question. :( Once you hit 36 weeks you need to be within an hour radius of the hospital where you are delivering.  I was exactly 36 weeks on Memorial Day.

I did get Jordan to take me to WI Dells for a day though. I called it our mini vacation.  I have been wanting to ride the Ducks, so that was our first stop.

It was a really hot day, but it felt good out on the water.  Our guide was hilarious which made the ride even more enjoyable.

After the ducks we wandered around the downtown shops, stopped to buy some ice cream and homemade chocolates, and then hit up the Tanger outlet mall.  Jordan and I each got a great deal on some new shoes.

I hope everyone had an enjoyable Memorial weekend!
