Classroom

I started teaching 4 year old Preschool in November of 2011.  I thought it might be nice to share some photos of my classroom.  I am really enjoying my job, and feel very blessed that I found a full time job so quickly.  Especially blessed that I have amazing health insurance with a baby on the way!   :)

I work with one other teacher.  We are currently doing a lot in our classroom to bring in new materials since a lot of stuff has disappeared or been used up over the years.  We both are new to the room, and the room in general had been neglected from past teachers.  I spent six hours one day reorganizing and labeling our storage room.

The center I work at is called Here We Grow Learning Center.  The top floor has childcare from ages birth to three.  The bottom half, where I work, has three preschool classrooms.  We are a privately owned center, but next year we will be working with the Verona Area School District as part of their 4yr old Kindergarten program.  Their district is expanding and they don't have room in their schools for the program.  They have accepted our program and center as-is, since we also follow Creative Curriculum.
